ReplyDeleteNot quite a two a day cause the gymnastics stuff I think is more skill work than high intensity metcony. Yesterday was more of a "strength" day for the gymnastics so it was a good complement to the quick metcon I did beforehand. Feeling a little tight today though.
ReplyDelete5/3/1 is going well - this week is my deload week so the heaviest sets I'm doing are at 60% of my 1RM. Looking forward to jacking the weights up next week for my 3rd cycle. Basically 2 months in now and definitely making noticable gains.
ReplyDeleteI think we discussed this before, but how'd you decide to program 5/3/1? You aren't doing 4 sessions are you? Or just 2 (Bench/squat and press/dead or something)?
