Squatted 320lbs 5x5. Was ridiculously tired by the end. Then I pressed 125lbs 5x5. Then weighted chins 5x5 (actually I don't have a weight vest yet, so this one was unweighted). Finally some decline weighted situps 5x10 (45lb plate).
The volume day workout is stupidly long. I think this one took me about 2.5 hours when you add in stretching. Also some dude came up to me to talk about squats for like 15 minutes.
Damn 2.5 is mad long.
ReplyDeleteIf you dont have a vest you can sandwich a dumbbell between your knees or ankles for the chins.
I was thinking that, except how do I like, jump up to grab the bar if i have a dumbbell between my legs?
DeleteThat would be pretty impressive if you could jump up with a dumbbell between your legs. I always stand ontop of a box or a few bumper plates if the bar is low enough. You can also throw a bench under the bar if you don't have a box or enough plates.
