2012-09-04 Track Club (MB)

The goal was consistency since last time my range was [1:04, 1:30]. Happy with the progress. Next goal is to stay consistent, but shave off ~2 seconds.

    Pretty happy with the consistency. Screwed up my watch on the second run and didn't get a time, maybe could have shot for 1:23 if I had a 1:19 in the bag on the last round. Like MB, the goal next time will be to shave a few seconds off and maintain the consistency. These 400's felt significantly better than the 400's I ran in Alabama a few weeks ago. I think the key was going out of the gate at around 70-75% then ramping up to 90% on the final straightaway. The previous 400 work only had 90s rest between sets but my best (and first) 400 was at 1:20 and today my best (and last) was 1:19. Ran 1.3 miles to and from the track too, solid warmup/cool down.
