Tabater

Wtf is a tabata? Read this and this

Passed on all three Huntsville CF gyms cause none of the WODs interested me

Did my WOD up in here:


You know you're not in the civilian world when there's a 20-person pullup rig on the side of the road

Tabata movements/reps:
Squats: 19, 22, 17, 13, 19, 17, 13, 13
Pull ups: 10, 10, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7
Sit ups: 11, 9, 9, 9, 8, 8, 8, 8
Push ups: 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 8, 8, 8

Score: 13+7+8+8=36

Realized during the squats there's no reason to do more reps than any previous round of reps cause that shit won't count on your score anyways. Tabatas are best done w/ some sort of audio cue to tell you when 20 and 10 seconds are up. There are a bunch of mp3's and shit you can google for Tabatas. I didn't always hear the beeps signaling the 20 and 10 second intervals so some atleast 3 of my rests ended up being 40 seconds long.

    ...thats sooooo sick. there should be a program that can can automatically (or almost) generate tabata mp3s when you feed it a bunch of other mp3s. Teach me how to program that, MB!

  2. solid track. i like the 3-2-1 countdown. i have an audio track i made in audacity that you can basically lay over any songs you want, pretty easy simple. let me know if you want it or if you want me to throw it on any songs.

    a huge outdoor pullup rig like that would be an awesome addition to an xfit gym, and not too pricey either. my dream box is coming together in my head, probably 10 years prematurely.
